The Regina Plains around Lajord, Riceton,
Lewvan would be full of bullrushes if not for
controlled ditching projects but the water has a
channel out as in Wascana Creek, but I am told
that the water from Stoughton and Fillmore areas
has been ditched South to Lampman and that
water has no where to go. That's the problem,
when farmers drain their sloughs and there is no
Wascana Creek to take it away and farmers
downstream get 12 feet of water.
