They were turfed off a bunch of land in east central Sask as well. Be interesting to see what they do with the big Twister bin set up, scales, 2 year old fert bins etc north of Leross.

I dont know how something so important can be
          continuously ignored here.

Lots and lots of very savy business people who are far
smarter than anyone here predict agriculture as the
          best thing to be in.

Farmers have always been the HOST for the sap-sucking business world to tap so that they can profit.

Why wouldn't they see the potential in farming as long as farmers are dumb enough to produce the raw materials and leave the value-adding to others?

Look at all the monopolies or near-monopolies in Canada and the US of A processing the major share of products such as commodity pork, beef, chicken, milk and dairy products, flour, cranberries and mushrooms. Most of the farmer-owned or controlled companies have sold-out to big business OR have been legislated out.

Yes, the parasites are all waiting in line for their piece of the big money pie known as AGRICULTURE.

Cotton, is it fair to say that I should be paying a
little more to buy land? I am having trouble
offering $2000/acre on 130 cultivated acre quarter
              of land assessed at 79900.
I have the money in place, I just think we are in a
bubble and the farmers are all wound up to buy
              farmland.

I could let 800 acres go, for you today, at 1000 per acre (45000 assessment).

All in one block, close to 140-160 acres per quarter.

Sakatchewan and you would make it the highest sale locally.

                      Really, you are interested?

Maybe you missed the "for youuu, today.." (salesman sarcasm).

I wish there was a way to send info without the whole country knowing. We could have a good conversation.

The locals would be all over me like shit on a blanket.
