As we went to see our folks in the hospitals
yesterday...we were reading about ElectroMagnetic
Pulse weapons... Solar Flares... much would change if
North Korea or Iran sent us one of these... or the Sun...

prognosticators... we have done well to concentrate on
the problems we can fix... and hope for the best for

Lots of Hospital time with the folks... so much travel time to think about getting old!

Good advice:

First hand it is hard to argue with this logic... as Doctors and Nurses have a tough job with care for our seniors (Moms and Dads in the 80's)...

On the other end... looks like those running our world ... are pumping up the meds and pain killers... [QE3 infinity]... the parallels are astounding...

I actually agree with you, Burbert.

A good, long, nasty world war will put a lot of people to work, and eliminate the ones that don't want too. Would probably help with another baby boom in North America too.

Only problem nowadays is the itchy finger on the nuke button.

Worst thing that can happen is a complete meltdown of society. Once people are done ravaging the cities, they will move into the countryside and just because you live in the country, doesn't mean you'll be safe. Think in terms of the city guy sniping your wife as she tends to the garden. Don't think the city people won't come armed.
