    Exports Shift Toward South America

Soybean basis at the Gulf of Mexico is
now weakening which is now signaling the
    shift toward the record Brazilian
soybean crop. There are only 3 ships
awaiting American beans and 134 ships
    awaiting Brazilian.

    This is pressuring oilseed futures
    today.

Also reports of too much rain across
Mississippi Delta may slow start of corn
    plantings in the south. Ethanol
processing margins have improved of late

This is now starting to pressure oilseed futures and global vegetable oil prices.

Canola prices are now considered exceptionally high in the global veg oil market. This may impact the Cdn canola export pace this spring.

There are also reports of too much rain across the Mississippi Delta which now now slowing the start to corn plantings in the south.

      cool story huh?? BTO
