Lets just clarify why I bought when I did. 2.45 a liter is dirt cheap every one uses this product. It stores easily can stack two high. Buy big plastic totes not those plastic and metal shit shows.

I understand that, and I wasn't complaining. I was using it as example as to why companies say ther might be a short term shortage. If you clean out a warehouse, its then considered a shortage, even though its a super price.

What were you suppose to do, wait till they increased the price?

It seems we will be short of every chemical.

That is because chemical companies base their product requirement for the next year by this years sales.

It is stupid. There are still "X" number of acres in western Canada. Drop out the wet acre years and that's what they should base chemical production on.

Western Canada has't change the number of acres, like everyone says "they ain't making more land"

No I just was explaining why! Price was good I was still planning to farm a few years so purchased at low price.
If something is reasonable price and buy before some one figures it out.
Now the BS with Chem and shortages is BS. Last year Vitterra shipped a lot of chemical to swift for disease in Wheat DAh east sask needed product west sask got for fusarium.

          I read your comments.

But keep in mind if you submitted a rsponse that said a farmer didn't want the commission or the check off in the first place - it was rejected.

I don't see any need for it. But its a mandatory check off now.

Why not get the people that want to have their grain checkoff deducted to sign up, they like the paperwork.

All others do not get deducted. Then you will find out how valuable your commission is.

Like the CWB, it easy to say you have support if it is mandatory.

I still think you are not getting it.

And why tell someone else to lobby Lyle Stewart, you are already there. You could whisper in his ear that maybe just one organization could take care of all these so called wheat issues. I question your motives on that point.

WGRF participated in a theft of farmers money. Freight over charges, just because legislation says that is where such things shall go, doesn't absolve the WGRF board from doing the correct thing, and refusing such funds. By not making a board decision to tell the government to return the freight rate over charges to farmers, the WGRF is a thieving entity.
