    Any guesses?

Anyone care to guess when they think
they'll be seeding this year? My guess is
    may 25th

Hoping for late April like every other year, usually going by may 4, then delayed until may 10.

I know most will say its only march20, but it is a bit unnerving watching this weather.

The good news is the last time it was warm a week ago it didn't take long for the heat to make a difference.

Seeded late last year and it worked out ok. Might get a few more auctions in this way, enjoy talking to others from various locations.

Last year at this time we had now snow on the ground and we didn't start until
the middle of May. Hope to start 10 days sooner this year. The snow will
disappear, its the late snow and rain that set us back last year.

May 15th. Maybe. I have learned after '06,
                  '07 , '10 and '11, that panic is not
helpful. I guess part of it is that May
15th would be normal for here. Maybe in
other areas that is late to start, but
here it is right on schedule.

Freewheat I agree with the 15 as when we in most years really start rolling then its full steam ahead. But I have never seen drifts like this year. Cat has work to move!

Thing is too, FINALLY we are not alone
with mounds of precipitation. Here we have
had less snow than many areas which is
very strange. Yet oh so overdue. One way
or another the snow must melt. It will as
usual. April will be the telling month, as
usual. Early May rains are my bigger
concern. Rain and snow in May is what
screws up a guys year. Not so much snow in
                      March....

BTO, you are so tuff, funny you can't blow winter
                          right to Hawaii.

Our soil profile was very dry last fall so as soon as the snow is gone we will be going, probably around april 20-25th
