Our soil profile was very dry last fall so as soon as the snow is gone we will be going, probably around april 20-25th

I hear what your sayin about getting out the Cat
SASK This farm will always have a cat on the
yard. My D6 has more than earned it's keep &
paid for itself. Big trucks can get in and out of this
yard year round. Just got my v cutter back from a
rebuild. 480 acres of brush cutting to do this
              spring. Starting tomorrow!

Any one remember, was it April 1, 2011 when we
had the storm East of Regina that killed 1000's
of calves and as many full-size cattle? I saw
pictures of cattle piled up like chordwood.

Normal start would be last week of Apr, this year I would guess today at May 10th. Similar year to 2011 when we had a very heavy snow cover and a very late snow melt. Took a long time to warm the soil as rains followed the spring run-off.
