So mustardman, you must miss the old Saskatchewan....no growth, out-migration, less young people to educate saving money on education. Hell, we couldn't even afford to send money to Quebec to cover their better social programs. Too bad Alberta grew their economy so they could spend like drunken soldiers. Royalty revenues are not the problem...it's called big government.

Sask has never had a gov't come into power with as Much money in the coffers as this one. (The BOOM started because of high commodity prices Before Brad was elected)
But now he is the highest Spending gov't in our history can't balance budget without taking Hundreds of millions from Crowns. How would they balance a budget if economy was slow ??

Heres a tip Brad, Change the NDP policy of Incredibly Low Royalty Rates setup when commodity prices were Low and charge as if commodity prices are High which they are. I can't rent land for $5 an acre.

Mussy, the most important outcome of a Wall
              government is confidence.

Business has confidence in the province.
              Residents of Saskatchewan have newfound
confidence. Farmers' land values surely make us
feel better than when quarter sections were
selling for 20K. y had confidence.

What changed? Remember the days of NP
central planning when the govt was buying up
farmers' land? Nobody had confidence. Nobody
thought that plan would succeed in the long run.

Thank your lucky stars that mentality is not in
              power.Pars

Agree with Parsley. I am seeing it in a little town with a change in mayor. The people have a higher regard and confidence in the new people on council.

Such a small example, maybe that is why it is so clear. Confidence in your political stability is important as Parsley says. Now we can get to work and improve ourselves.

The NDP got bad advice, maybe thats what they
wanted. I was at a farm conference in Brandon
and was sitting at a table of 8. During lunch, we
were chatting about AB oil. My youngest son was
in his last year of law school and showed us a
map that a prof gave the class about oilwells on
the AB side of the border. Of course, on the
Klein side, the map was covered with specs
representing oil wells. On Sask side very few. He
asked how many students thought the oil
stopped at the provincial boundry. So a few put
                  up their hands.

This story was relayed to these 8 participants in
Brandon and a person from the next table
overheard and interrupted, "as a matter of fact, I
have worked for Saskenergy all of my life and I
know that it does stop at the border." everyone
just looked at him, astonished. This was the
coucil for the NDP. Good job, buffoons.
