5 inches of rain before feeeze up, wow that doesnt sound good unless you are on sand.

We were bone dry at freeze up, won't much runoff here if any. Just need some warmth to melt snow and we will be rolling.

It is evident that a lot of people need help.

First step is to know what is going on. As a test; how about the smart bastards repeating back what you gleaned from a post.

That should draw the usual silence from those who ignore everything that does not confirm what they already think they know for sure.

Please change that reference to "smart bastards" to "smug bastards".

Sorry to have offended any who fall into the former category.

Freewheat. We had 6 feet of snow this
winter. When snow blows it also packs it.
Also we probably have had a few more days
of melt so far this year. That makes a
huge differance in a hurry on how it
looks. I have not been north of Regina but
on the south side there is more snow in
the fields than I have ever seen before.

Sounds like a bunch of teenage boys
                arguing over who's is bigger.

Wish it was that minor of a deal. Snow and
late spring could be the weather story of
the year.. Some years we may get a late
snow but the frost is out of the ground
and does not last.Still have all the frost
in the ground and most of the snow to get
                  rid of.

Yeah I agree. This is getting sickening already.
There is allot of snow to melt here too. It is
amazing how variable the conditions can be from
                      year to year.
