    On another related note,,,

Oil World tempers South America soy expectations. Oil World cautioned that the USDA was being "overly optimistic" in its estimates for production of the oilseed in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, "not yet reflecting the crop damage resulting from detrimental weather conditions". Oil World kept its estimate for the soybean crop in Brazil at 81.3m tonnes, 2.4m tonnes below the USDA figure. For Argentina, the analysis group stuck with a harvest estimate of 48.5m tonnes, 3.0m tonnes below the USDA number.

When soy is short then you take away a BS tariff.
Did read that oil world thinks the USDA is out some 5 to 6 mill ton on SA production.
