    Weather

Regina is at -15,3 degrees colder than its last record set in 1928,kind of surprising such a wide
    margin.

foggy early this morning now the fog has lifted.
Snow drift in front of the house has dropped to 4 ft. Well last year I was already cutting the grass.

What will it take to shake that artic High, currently over Sask, on down the way? Until that dip in the jet stream smoothes out, the weather won't be changing much. More cloud and snow forecast.
How much longer before this becomes serious and catches the attention of markets?

Wheat markets might be starting to taking notice this morning, freezing in hard winter wheat areas, snow still on the ground over the northern plains and Canada.
Temps still warm in soft winter wheat areas, atleast for now.
          Hope that chart works

If they want to manipulate the market, they better be prepared to ensure those
affected are protected, JMO. If they want a ceiling, they better be prepared
            to provide a floor too.

Little off topic but couldn't let it pass.

This weather is starting to get a little unnerving...

SF3, I've posted 2 articles over the last 6 months here, about the United Nations speaking publically, about working with importers and exporting nations to controling grain prices and food costs. Governments around the world have decided, it's what's best!

              Farmaholic, you nailed it, who is subsidising who. That's why I had a laugh the other day when jensend typed this;

i wonder how many farms pay more taxes than the benefits they get from taxpayers.

I think you guys are right.

A bushel of wheat use to buy a a barrel of oil or
1/20th an ounce of gold or 2 ounces of silver.

In todays world those conversions would have major
                consequences.

takes a while to load - even at 100MB/sec

Nice 2wk animation. Just when the brown gets closer to the border, it grows to the south all over again.
No wonder we're so cold here, there's snow for hundreds of miles to the south yet.
