    Scotia Flex for Agriculture?

Anybody using this for their banking and borrowing
and how is it working out for you? We've had all our
chequing, savings, credit cards with Scotiabank for
40 years, but mortgages and LOC through FCC.
Getting less and less convenient for me to deal with
FCC, whereas my Scotia branch is right where I
need it so I'm looking into taking everything to
Scotia, looks like it could save me in the
neighbourhood of $12-15,000 per year and give
me more flexibility to boot but I haven't talked to
anyone who has been using it yet.

Don't know anything about scotia or scotia flex what is it all about and how can you save so much money, your borrowing through fcc should be as good as a rate you can get. Although me personally like the small local credit union that we have and it pays dividends but not 15 grand worth. I would think it a hassel to deal with two different financial insitutions but that is fcc is only for loans. Is your manager personable? Does he know you or only your payment and go by the book? Just really wondering about the 15 grand in savings does not sound right.

One percent on 1.5 million works out to 15 thousand.

Inch of rain. The drought is over. That should
drop grain prices in Chicago by 20%.! Sarcasm.

If your FCC rep tries to tell you how to run YOUR
farm ...walk! They tried that crap with me. Was
nice to pull 260k from them in the process. That'll
be the day some snotty little 24 year old from
              Nova Scotia dictates to me.

Relationships are very key with who u deal with. I
happily pay more to get good service.

Weekend, nothing but a few spits. Over night to 7:00 AM, a nice drizzle. Sometimes radars don't mean much in SE Sask.

misted and spit all afternoon, barely settled the dust, then 1.10" overnight, not welcome! water sitting on planted ground.

ND got hammered, heard on Bismarck radio Sunday that there were areas with water flowing over highways!

I have seen more bank managers come and
go than I care to count. I am still
here. That should count for something.
Some of them were real ****heads trying
to get ahead and losing customers

Rained all day in Minot today.
Cereal stubble not generally seeded. Most harrowed and water laying in almost every low spot. One fellow reported about 50% seeded in state. I think ND is in about same boat as extreme SE corner of Sask; and with water common in any furrow that was low or just seeded; its starting to look like wet season from a couple years ago

NOTHING worse than TOO much water.
I speak from years of experience!
                            What a shame!

I agree to much water is no good at all.
