Could use a good 1/2 inch rain in 5 days. Should be close to wrapped up here if we dont get stuck or break down.
Winter wheat and 1st seeded canola could use a drink soon.
Have canola and peas up, spraying winter wheat, 8 1/4's to go then back to smaller pot holes. Big water areas may be next year or two?
Guys getting stuck every day around here - seeding outfits, sprayers, big trucks, small trucks.

Sorry furrow not till 1st week of june for a rain. We are almost at the half way point. Long hours going strong with both drills. Most in area are close to half.

Everyone going here now, wet slimy fields turn hard and lumpy. Very poor seed bed, will dry out. Fall tilled mellow drier, just fine. Will wait 2 weeks for rain, no floods please.

nice break, and ground would use it up quick.

Finished and waiting for rain. A good inch would be welcome here to get everything going. Have durum peas and lentils up. Most decent but some a little spotty where seedbed dried out. Canola needs it bad as germination would be only around 25% at this point. Subsoils moisture is fair to good just need to top it up
