In foothills Alberta. Point is, a big change in atmospheric conditions usually happens within a day or two of a full moon.

You heard right, sumdumguy. In fact we had frost for 3 consecutive nights including Sunday night. And not just in cottage country!
The corn is not impressed. It's all very yellow or some even brown but since it's only at the emerged to 2 leaf stage it will grow out of it. The soys are not up yet or it would be game over from them.
The soy planting got pretty well wrapped up yesterday and now it's raining again this morning.
Next is hay cutting - looks like a good crop, far better than last year's frost-bitten stubs.

We only had frost once, 10 days ago. Nothing
since. SW Ontario seems to have been worse,
spots around Chatham, etc had 3-4 hard frosts in
a row over the weekend. Friend downthat way
has 800 acres of black corn that should recover,
and a bunch of veggies that won't.
Lots of winterkilled alfalfa here, going to be a
short hay year again
