    Mowers

I know this is not commodity, but it is the best
for response. Looking for a rough cut mower
to do small cleanup around yard. I realize that
shulte is the king, but sometimes you have to
justify cost for its usage. Flaman sells a mower
called Kodiak, it is a 10 foot and they claim it
is a big big seller for them. A 15 ft batwing is
just to costly for what i plan to do. Ya maybe
might mow the odd low spot in fall, but mostly
for spots around bins, flats, all the places the
baler used to keep tidy. Anyone out there have
or saw one of these Kodiaks. Thanks

A good zero turn can do a shitload of work, but
maybe not what your talking about.

If the grass has gotten out of hand, will a
      Grasshopper zero handle it?

I'm not familiar with the brand,as long as deck is
deep and can be raised to a reseanable height, may
          have to do it twice.

We bought the smallest john deere commercial and i
was absolutly shocked at what it can do.I would say it
is 3-4x faster than our riding lawn mower.

We had a few hundred trees just planted and do to
the flooding we couldn't get them tilled so we had
major dock and koshia but in the spring i was able to
          just mulch it all up.

We have a few football fields of grass to cut so the
          labour savings was unbelievable .

I would not recommend the jd ""yellow decks" with
briggs motors unless you have a smaller amount of
          grass.

I agree with cotton. I bought same thing. It can cut
4 inches high, drive slow and make a few passes
on the crazy stuff. Soon it will become part of the
regular cutting, Easily twice as fast as the old
            riding tractor.
I have an old 6 foot bush hog mower but I find it a
nuisance to hook up and use. I am pretty lazy.
