No pics show up but how is the Mercedes?
Do it have EGR, that seems to be a bit troublesome. That would be a 2 pedal?
We have a non EGR in a tandem with a Eaton 10 spd AS, good so far, easy to drive.

It has EGR but we've disabled it already.


2 pedal, yes... love the transmission. Anyone can drive it!

No problems so far, but only put about 9K km on it....

I hope you have better luck with the Mercedes
then most people had. I know afew people that
had them, and they were very troublesome. They
were used in Freightliners mainly in fleet trucks
for light duty. If pulling hard, the fan is always
cutting in and out. They overheated quite often.
Heqd gaskets was a common fix on them. Also
the liners. A few Sterling trucks our way have
them, and one farmer I know was happy to get
rid of his.

kanuck...when you start putting the exhaust up the pipe instead of back through the engine the overheating stops.
