Is the coolant circulating? Maybe the
impeller is broke off the shaft or if the
pump is driven by its own belt and maybe
its broke or slipping bad. I have a
3126Cat that has its water pump driven by
a small belt dedicated to only the pump.
Good luck and post your findings....

          Is this a Spra-Coupe?

Spra-Coupe, its a 2 litre Turbo charged Peugeot
with 5 speed standard. We think timing belt
slipped 1 cog on the fuel pump. We advanced
the timing 12 degrees, helping a lot. Going to
hook up school bus heater under seet to remove
a few more BTU. Will try anything. We also
added an exhaust pyrometer and boost guage to
monitor our tuning ideas. Would like to hear
            fellow diesel tuning ideas.

If it was headgasket would there not be loss of
water, water in the oil or oil in the water. There is
no sign of any of these presentations.
