This comment wasn't well thought out,
but I wish farmers could short the
market and create demand for their
products like the chemical companies do.
There seems to be a shortage(perceived
or real) of fungicides and who wants to
take the chance of not spraying after
last years experience. Before we were
sitting kinda pretty but as of late have
too much moisture, we lost some ground
that was seeded. The pump is now primed
for disease. If you plan on using
fungicides, get them now, be pro-active
and not reactive, you may be surprised
when you go to pick something up that it
may not be there. Unaffiliated to Chem

I picked up 60 jugs of lance today. They said that
was all they had left and can't get any more! And
we are still at least 2 weeks from being ready to
spray. Crazy.

Couldn't get Pardner (straight bromoxynil) this spring as there was a
'shortage'. Real reason, bayer doesn't want farmers to spray it post seed pre
emerg to control rr canola. Lots of buctril M of course.
