Well Sask Crop Insurance changed the program mid stream!

100.00 unseeded acreage benefit is changed as I
found out today. See any slough that has a cattail
is classed as noneligible. No payment, according
to their criteria it's a long term slough. Yea even if
you sprayed and worked last fall. GPS maps no
    good bulrushes decide!
Seems at the Yorkton office farmers are not
pleased of the recent changes now that their
    getting our. Money!
Sask party maybe doesn't get agriculture.
This all on a day that we entered te flood zone.

We had to sign up in march, not end of April like
Manitoba. Adds some 8000 to 10000 to our bill
now this latest change. Hm they can change
    program farmers can't. Great planing!

RU serious, SF3? I have cattails growing in areas where it was seeded for
the previous 100 years. Cattails can emerge very quickly in the right
(wrong) conditions, and in the most surprising spots... Like on hills.

That is pretty nasty rule change in light of the conditions that have been
          happening out here...

what a bunch of bullshit. I heard that crop insurance was trying this. Isnt it almost fraud? They should have to disclose their rules ahead of time in their policy you would think. You know a guy is getting pummeled by rain, ruts ,washed out roads, equipment stuck every 100 yards, water in your basement then leave it to sask crop insurance to give you a kick to the junk now that your really down and out! effing ass holes. (someone will fight them over this you can bet your bottom dollar on it and I bet they win)

you know that they thought that when they put this program together that they were going to make a bunch of money, that was until it started raining and never stopped. Then it was "holy shit we are going to go broke paying out these unseeded acres quick change the rules in our favour!!!!" What other insurance outfit could ever get away with that????

Remember it's your government that you are talking about.

Why not say it right to Brad's face. He's the one who is being forced to cut back services and payouts.

Free wheat I can show them a spot on a hill with
cattail s rain filled it today oh sorry. Basically out
                    of 840 acres flooded 500 is 5 % no coverage 340
should be at 100! 34000 for a cost of 8000 so.
320 had cattail s no trees etc just flooded ground
that I use to seed called permanent lost acres
now with rule change. Payment 2000 yea great
program! They got 8 I get 2 loss 6 great program,

SO they should pay back your premium on those acres for all the years
you paid it. That is sick. That is unjust. That is a complete lack of
understanding of 40 inches of rain.

I put down land that I have always farmed
that has been under water for 3 years as
too wet to seed again. Not sure how else I
should have classified as. They phoned me
and it sounds like it may not be eligible.
The program seems to cater to the guys
that in the spring it is too early..too
                            cold..too wet..too windy..too dry.. too
hot..AHH man too late to seed...

raised capital and organised functions. Who were
                              they again?
