Friday Crop Report on a Thuraday!

Well again weekend farming thanks to rain! Went like hell Friday till Monday morning and then sat all week thanks to rain.
Spent the last three days in Fargo ND at Big Iron show! Beans in Canada are a long way from making it a major crop!
But maybe some day they will get their!
    79 day corn looks good!
Funny still how in the USA farmers are important part of the economy and jobs and service knows they need farmers yet in canada most feel were a liability that slows traffic and is a Inconvience.
    Well here it is.
Peas off and sold looked good did good.
Barley off and looked good later looked better than early and made malt.
Hrs were just into it yielding great and high high protein and looks good.
Canola tried 50 acres Monday of round up. Filled two semis nice so I guess I'm happy.
    Liberty should still do better
oats sprayed and ready next week.
Flax some harvested buy most a week or two away.
    No winter wheat going in
soy loosing leaf and shutting down.
Pastures and hay second cut looks good.
So from the road back home, be safe and rember its just a crop in canada that every one wants a piece of your hard work, and doesn't want to pay for it.
This exchange thing a $290000 piece of equipment is $406,000 Canadian.
5 dollar wheat is 6.75 Canadian.
    Just saying!
Looks like weather might change after tonight's frost so let's get it done!

Surprising how at harvest time the rain lasts for a week and we get inches, when in the summer when rain is needed we get a shower of 1/10th...then sunshine..

Many farmers really struggling to get crops off, or even get started because of heavy rains, sad to hear.

Would be nice if those who were done showed a little humility. Maybe hold off posting till later in the harvest season when there are more farmers in the same position. I can see it getting under other posters skin as their situation is grim at this point.

Hopefully mother nature co-operates and everybody gets done!!!!

I thought this was a crop report thread. The sarcasm thread is under the bridge isn't it? It's nice to see that riders loves bucket though. That's a positive isn't it?

It was equally painful for the people not getting rain this summer to hear how much others were getting.

I'm not rubbing salt in anyone's wounds when I say I am happy with and calling for more rain now, I'm not that spiteful. But it is what I need and want. Everyone puts in a different weather order!!!

Good luck fellas with harvest, I hope you get the weather you want and need as well. When you get out there work smart and safe!!!!

                        Take care.

Haha should have specified the kind of love. I mean Toms version. A while back he had some kind of love thy neighbor deal. Didn't read it all.
But any way peace and love brothers. Praise The Lord for the beautiful rain falling outside my window. Better order some more bins.
