getting in and out of cab is insane. the door will get you in the head everytime. I think the versatile engineers had a hidden camera taking pictures of farmers getting hit in head climbing in and out at farm progress show

Very nice tractor Klause. We run a 485HHT.
QSX15 engine is a beauty and I dont think another tractor out there can compete with outboard planetaries. but I would not touch it without Powershift. You will make it back on resale. Interestingly 500s without powershift I think are pretty unusual, I dont think you can even get a 500 anymore with 12 speed.
For what its worth, watch for many 8 wheel tractors come up for sale in the next two years as lots of folks are moving to tracks and the new JD 9RX is only going to accelerate that.

I heard they had problems with the manual transmission, stick to the cat PS, very nice setup. 26 mph transport speed. Steinbauer chip turns the QSX upto 625 hp sauce which means I never have to downshift from 5th at 1800 rpm 4.4mph even up steep grades. Two quick slaps of the joystick and I'm doing 8 mph to get turned around at headlands faster. Never seems to run outa power really. Opt for high flow hydraulic package and 6 sets of remotes. I have it plumbed so auxiliary pump only runs the two cart fans so fan speeds stay constant always. The feature that makes the green guys jealous is the self dropping drawpin. Might seem trivial to some but is very nice for hooking up.

I wouldn't buy the combines, don't the the concaves rotate or something strange like that.
LEP, what sprayer issues did you have. Nothing worse than shitty service and support. If they want to build the brand they better service and support their products. Good dealers will do their best to help, but the Company itself....?

Well let's see, they have a mickey mouse engimeter that kick out at Wil and then you have no oil pressure or temp guages. This problem persisted for 2.5 years and I think it still is an issue.
The raven boom height and gps were a constant source of issues. The company never lifted a finger to fix any of it.
The amount of wear on boom hinge points etc was unprecedented. It was a constant two bit situation.
I have had a spray coupe 7650 and a Wilma r 7600 before that which were decent. I now have a case 3330 which is the nicest machine that I have ever driven. Absolutely love it.
My biggest frustration was the fact that Versatile provided almost nothing for support to keep us going or address design weaknesses.
