Now that was a strange place to post my Canola Crush posting!!!

If people want a balanced budget... we must spend less. The radical change in emissions with removal of sulphur in fuels... has changed pollution and acid rain now not a problem.

PM Harper has made some unpopular decisions that gov. workers do not like... as we have slowed the increase in Fed. Gov. work force. A good job on balance has been done! NDP want double the cost and workers... to regulate our business and lives. Carbon Taxes... Wind Solar end coal generation of electricity... all of which cause a smile on Chinese faces as they laugh all the way to the bank... as our good jobs move to asia.

You guys are so short sighted.

How many times does it have to be studied and talked about. Taxing has te opposite effect for bringing in revenue. The NDP have never figured that out. Go have a look at California. Most people live there less then 6 months or have out of state businesses. The tax there is killing that state

Mustardman. Do you think rich people are stupid. If you took all the money in the world and evenly spread it out. Within a few decades all the same people would be rich again. If you tax them they move money around. If you increase wages then you see more automation. Just the way it is. And please give me an example of a NDP government that has left office without a mess. Probably going to use Alberta as an example and it's only really been the last 2 governments under stelmack and Redford both were not conservatives

Freewheat Good question! I will follow my riding's candidates closely - everyone of them - and vote for the one that comes closest to my principles and is the MOST WILLING TO REPRESENT ME IN OTTAWA regardless of the party they belong to. The only one I will not consider is the Conservative candidate because the current government has proven without a doubt it is not willing to listen to the MP and the people they represent but the MP is simply a mouthpiece of the government.

I truly wish I lived in the Alberta riding of St Alberta - Edmonton and had the choice of an independent candidate like Brent Rathberger. Rathberger was a conservative MP who quit the Conservative party in 2013 because, as he said, as a Conservative MP he was no more than a trained seal repeating the talking points of the PMO office. I wish I was represented by someone of Rathberger's principles! And I am most certainly no longer willing to be treated as a mindless sheep expected to vote Conservative just because they have the name Conservative.

Our biggest fiscal scare in Sask was after a conservative gov't .We were on the edge of Bankruptcy . It took the NDP with balanced budgets and an Austerity program to bring us out of that.
Money was finally started to be spent and growth was Already happening when Wall took over.
This was due to high commodity prices.
Mr Wall would like to credit for the Sky being blue but some of know better
(unfortunately I think he's still using Devines calculator to balance books)

Devine thought ending the crow Would benefit the province.
It ended up Deregulating the railroads so tracks were torn up and elevators Gone.
Highways were pounded to pulp and we Were bankrupt After his reign.
We have more roads than anywhere in Canada ,an almost bankrupt province could not begin to fix .

Tom, I disagree with every point you make!. The federal payroll actually increased under Harper. From 2005-2012 it went up by 14% with the addition of 34,000 more fed employees. Not what I voted for.
Yes he has cut 26,000 employees in the last 3 years but outsourcing and contract work hired by Ottawa has now gone up by 27.8% more than the savings of his cuts! Not what I voted for.
And the number of top level civil servants employed by the cabinet increased by 21% since Harper took office and his very own PMO office employs 38% more people today than Martin had. Not what I voted for.
And today we have 15% more communications staff - 4000 spin doctors employed by the Cons. Not what I voted for.
Harper put in 59 Senators after promising not to appoint unelected senators. Definitely not what I voted for!
The TPP will put more smiles on Chinese faces than all the solar and wind in Canada ever will.
No, I am not short sighted, I am open minded and will judge everyone on their actions. I will not be scared of fearmongering and BS talk like the NDP will double workers an costs as you claim without any proof.

Tom, for all your claims of Harper's great economic leadership, I challenge you to read this blog by two real economists and then tell me what a great economic job Harper has done:

And they will be bankrupt if they try to fix them.

They are doing a poor job of replacing highways. They all have to built for primary weights now that rails are gone.

And highway 42 is being pushed into 2017 for completion while highway 19 gets pummeled into oblivion again.

With all their cuts, they might just cut themselves out of a job. They decimated or off loaded almost all agriculture programs and replaced nothing. My feeling is that they taught us again. it's time for a new right wing party.
