JAy mo. Young Justin has no plans for a balanced budget for at LEAST THREE years.

All the while the deficit slayer, Paul Martin, runs around with him stating, with a straight face, mind you, that it is fine to run deficits... lol

    Oh to be a leftist.

Blame Harper for deficits that you forced, and then say deficits should be continued when they are balanced.

    Oh to be liberal!

Wow....changing your lifelong political voting pattern based on an article from Macleans magazine....news flash....Macleans is a non credible left wing Canadian magazine that makes me choke everytime I read it. IMO.

seabass are you sure you want a daul system.
the Fraser institute, a right wing think tank.
puts the cost of US health care at almost double the cost of the CDN. system.
we are under 60%of US expenditures.
and they still do not cover everybody.
so if you figure another 20,000$ a year health cost ,
for a family of 4 over the course of your life is a good deal ,
        then keep voting Harper.
        he will get you there.

just in the news today , a private firm get's a hold of an old off patent
TB drug . and raises the price 9,000%
        overnite.
that is where Harper is headed.

can you imagine there is potential 40% of the cdn. health budget. just laying there, waiting to be gobbled up by the US health industry.
and you and Harper are saying come on in and take it.

In TV interviews, the young people connect with Justin and then it hit me, that connection is the test of a political party. I asked myself, " how did the Harperites connect with seniors, with veterans, with youth, with women, with their loyal followers? Well, they had ample opportunity. For months, their daily phone calls, begging for help, that is how they connected with me. Guess if I'd quit answering the phone they would issue my death certificate and quit taxing the "dead" person. Oh but don't be too harsh, I was lucky enough to get one robo call directing me to the wrong polling station.

No forage, i never voted for gary doer, although i think he was well respected in general. He did pretty good, for a college dropout. As far as duffy and wahlin, they were both well respected journalists, would you have known they would turn out like they did?

Crestliner: I am not changing my vote because of the MacLean's article. The article only summarizes very well why I had already decided to give up on the Conservatives.

Tell me Crestliner, what in the article is incorrect? What have they printed that is not true? Or are you so stuck in your ways you won't even read something that you think is contrary to your opinion.

What is truly sad is people who are so narrow minded they refuse even to consider alternatives. People willing to reward truly bad government simply because that is who they have always voted for.

Sawfly. Typical lefty fear mongering. If we were to change our healthcare ( which we have absolutely no choice) why compare to the USA? Very successful health system in the world is public private. When healthcare spending increase at double or triple or in recession 10 times your GDP it's just not sustainable. But then you would vote for our leader of a G8 nation who has had to mortgage his own house 11 times. But he will run balanced budgets. Just like his own finances

vvalk Harper ,when head of Canadian Citizens Coalition , said his ambition was to end CbC,the CWB and to PRIVATIZE health care.

                  He said it himself

I wish he would take the cbc and shove it into oblivion.

Trudeau will probably increase the budget. And Tommy would rename it Pravda, or Al Muljeera.

Getting rid of the CBC is a great idea. They are a complete waste at my house
