I'm not disagreeing that we need a pure numbers based grading system. Out with the subjective "opinions". Visual based grading in my opinion is only a quick indicator of quality.

Rhetoric....I wonder if "they" sell objectively or subjectively to their customers.

p.s..... nice to see a looong grain train going by on the local rail line. Don't see too many these days.

They have the best of both world's, "if you let them", they get to call it what they want.AND name their price. What a weird situation.

Lol...I found out over time, all is well as long as you're bent over but heaven forbid you stand up!!!

As suggested above. Have your wheat tested for protein and falling numbers at a lab for yourself. Then start shopping.
You can email/fax your results anywhere in the world. I would look United States first. They have a strong dollar vs. our dollar and if your collow up physical sample is identical, you may have a sale. You may have to use some of your time to load a producer car.
You can choose to dump it through the grates as well.
I remember selling organic wrinkled HRSW . 2 tandem axle semis 831 bushels per truck , they hauled it to Commerce City, Colorado. They bought it on the lab tests. This is about 10 years ago, the farmer sold for $CAD 7.50/bushel when his other options at the time were conventional feed wheat for $3.50/ bushel. That was my first tangible education trying a little harder when selling grain.

I don't always grow wheat. But when I do, it never gets sold in Canada.
