    HRSW question ..

About what percentage of the HRSW was in the bin in western Canada as of the first week of Sept?
Or I guess another way to ask the question , how much HRSW was harvested as of early Sept?

    #2
    In this area 10% maybe.

10% was also still very immature so it probably missed downgrade.

in NE sask in this area I would say about 70% was off as a #1 in early sept . yields down from last 2 years for sure . lots was off in aug . kernels are a lot smaller . any downgraded to a 2 was for fus even though it got the piss sprayed out of it

We had 65% off as #1, but most had very little, everyone was bust with barley. Then it rained several times, swaths look ugly now.

S AB yields on dryland 25-30 with some fields as high as 50 depending on shower timing. Irrigation 80-100 which is typical.

It appears the deduction from a #1 to #3 is 25 cents currently.

Protein premium is 5 cents for 14% and above 14% doesn't pay.

13.5 as base px. 1 cent/tenth over. Never asked about "discounts" below 13.5.
