I thought the debt cost was 27b at 10% revenues but at this point what does it matter, most existing debt has been rolled forward at rock bottom rates, just x2 to include provincial, imagine if rates moved, which they won't,what if we do a half way from the eighties say 10% on 600bish load.

All of our deficits have been interest cost payments say whhhaaaaat.......

      Tweety

Not to argue but the last time wheat went up big time it was national news about how much more a loaf of bread would cost.

Peter mansbridge never reports on wheat going down and it's impact.

......because wheat going down impacts many times less people than bread going up!!!!!!!!!!!

Debt Review Board may well be busy for a reason not related to poor crops but poor choices. One thing crop insurance isn't designed to cover(depends if your choices affect crop production....or if neck is tightly stretched over the block).

No comment on cuts but one thing I did note...not a lot of comments on increased spending.

Forage. Wheat is to bread as copper is to wire. Liquid milk is the same from teat as in glass. Your saying store milk is more $ in US?

Defund the CBC. If it's as good as they say, it will survive just like the other networks, and if not, get contributions like PBS .

Welfare....cut welfare payments to individuals who do not pass a piss test for drugs. 1st time, a warning and a required test for drugs 30 days after the warning. If still fail 2nd time, no welfare for 6 months...3 time...2 years no welfare. Most major companies, trucking companies, etc have to pass a drug test, so why not anyone receiving free money. I have seen to many druggies buying lottery tickets and ciggerettes, with a little one by their side crying for something to eat, and the mother saying they got no money to by them a pint of milk or lunch.

Cut any funding to First Nations that the Bands will not give a detailed accounting of. I live near 3 reserves, and have seen to many paper cows.......what you say.....paper cows....well years ago, 1 band got government money to start band farming. They bought all kinds of equipment, hired all local First Nations people and gave them big sounding names like range manager, and equipment suprivisor, foreman, lands manager, herd manager and so on. All managers. After a few million bucks gone missing, an audit was done and low and behold, there were no cattle. Just on paper it showed they had over a 1,000 head. Regardless...just not enough transparency

Was that the one earth experiment?

Think Paul Martin former PM had his hand in that as am investor.

                  Blackpowder

Go with you Canadian money and buy a jug USA milk and then tell me where you paid more.

I highly doubt your main issue with the whole dairy industry has anything to do with Canadian consumers SUPPOSEDLY paying more for dairy products.

We need a Ralph Klein roll back.

Forage. Obviously this is a hot button for you. I wont try and make points on dairy with you as you're who you are and I dont really care. Erosions to programs with social roots take generations. Re the _ _ _. And yes, I've milked cows.

                      Cuts? Unrealistic all of course.
CBC make it more accountable. The law suits they get into because they have gaurenteed income is just the tip. Yes, I do listen and watch CBC occasionally.
Deed all First Nations land to them.
That way they finally own something. Have to care for it themselves. Live by their decisions and get some pride back. Even pay taxes.
Realistic cuts dunno. I gotts go harvest.

The Ralph Klein rollback cost us way too much in Alberta....still trying to catch up at prices 4 times what they would have been.
If your roof needs shingling and you wait until you have the money, you will be fixing the whole house, not just the shingles....
