Just when you think it can't get any stupider ?

Got a canvas joiner from a Honeybee Dealer for center canvas on a combine header. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price !!! $88 dollars ??? WTF s going on Honeybee.? This is 4 pieces of canvas joiner about 33 inches long x 1/2" thick and about 18 screws and nuts ? Their yellow vine lifters (Schumacher) are $48 , $32 -$36 everywhere else . lucky they are made right here in sask or I guess they'd be 30 % more . I asked dealer if they are losing it and they said that is Honeybees srp?

Try John Deere d****r headers. Little centre canvas is 56 inches wide and 60 inches long. Over 800 bucks at Western Sales. Connector is 170. Trevor at Rosetown Muffler and Bearing sells same canvas for 250 dollars.

CNH and JD have both gone mad, Agco is reasonable it seems.

Who thinks $1400 for separator drive belt is fair on a S-690?
How about an engine air filter for the 9510R for $360

            Wow..... Just wow!

One of the reasons I was looking at a green combine was the great access to parts and service but I failed to account for the prices! I'll stick with old Gleaner!

On a parts run stopped at McDonalds for first time in probably 6months. Ordered a Mighty Angus Burger meal no upsize. $10.98 b4 tax holy shit what has the world come 2. Wonder what they paid those 3 cowboys in the commercial to sell their souls.

Agree parts have gone retarded. All 3 canvas for jd 936D $4700. Laughed and said that was retarded and I wasn't paying g that. It was preseason so I had a few weeks to wait. Long story short WCCO which is the same belts jd was selling me found a dealer to sell them to me for $2500. WCCO didn't like the price either cause it pulls people to otyer companies belts if it's too costly. Same header $5000 wobble box. Not replacement t parts. Found all bearings and seals to rebuild it for $1000. This was a few years ago and again was off season so could wait a few weeks. They ass **** you for the convenience of having it "tomorrow"

Where are those parts being manufactured?
In canada? Not many most are from countries where we are supposed to get things cheap from. But we don't and why is that. Because he whole problem with let's get something made somewhere cheaper is that those in control don't pass the cheaper on to us.

                            I agree.

We needed an orange lens for our header safety lights... and CaseIH wanted $28...
Comrades our parts guys in Hardesty found the same lens for $3.
Mother Corp JD would only sell the whole light for $38.
