Oh by the way vvalk according to mnp I am one of the top producers in their area, which I believe is your area too.
So don't try and label me as a loser

Yeah it's funny mustard how vvalk labels people as winners or losers without knowing anything about them. In agricultural terms i'm operating on 10 times the acres my father started on, 25 times what my grandfather started with, all of it bought and paid for through every generation by entrepreneurial free enterprise.
Doesn't mean there hasn't been plenty room for charity and compassion to fellow man along the way. That is what was behind Nenshi's speech but I guess most didn't even listen to that, preferring to turn it into another CWB discussion.

VValk..."hard time competing in the real world"... Real world defined by whom...How many companies were chosen "winners" by the our government with bailouts during 2008, banks is just one example
"The study reveals that Canada’s banks received $114 billion in cash and loan support from both the U.S. and Canadian governments during the 2008-2010 financial crisis. The study estimates that at some point during the crisis, three of Canada’s banks—CIBC, BMO, and Scotiabank—were completely under water, with government support exceeding the market value of the bank. - See more at: https://www.policyalternatives.ca/newsroom/updates/study-reveals-secret-canadian-bank-bailout#sthash.KnM4nH1I.dpuf"

So this is your "real world"...help some, but not others. The "free market" is not what capitalists tout, it is manipulated, supported and winners are chosen, but it sounds impressive.
And the list is much. much bigger.
So, make it good for a few or make it good for many is the bottom line...
Did hear Nenshi's speech and was impressed. He is an inspiring fellow....

Actually Grassfarmer I did listen to what he said on the CBC. He explained his position very well. If polls are to be believed there are many people in Canada who disagree with him. I believe Canada is much more flexible and accommodating than many countries in the world especially Muslim countries. I also think Canada has many more pressing issues than the niquab and the politically correct elite telling us how we should think doesn't house the homeless or provide prosperous futures for our youth.

              Vvalk

You are right I haven't grown barley. But my neighbors have and they haven't noticed a difference in the ****ed up protocol of being accepted, then no delivery, then being rejected.

Same things are still happening out in but**** saskatchewan. And no politician gives a shit. It's all sunshine and lollipops according to them and guys like that religious zealot that posts here.

For all those accusing the CWB of rejecting or accepting your malt barley, they had nothing to do with that it was all up to the malting companies!!! If your barley went out of condition or the germ went down it was the Maltster who rejected it.

Bucket you last post is correct on every topic, especially the religious zealot comment. It's hard to believe he hasn't started bellowing as of yet on this thread. Guest the PMO talking points haven't been faxed yet!!!!

                    Walk

You really think your a rung above others on here just because you vote for Con/Reformer Harper. In you mind that makes you some how more competitive than posters on here that may be voting for a different party.

Boy, I really like to see if your as good as think you are!!!

Forage. I'm not nearly so arrogant as you telling all the farmers of western Canada that the cwb is better at running their farms then they are!!!!!!

                        Walk

I guess I touched a nerve with the comment about stating your not as competitive as you think you are!! What's wrong things not as rosy as you like to lead they are, out on your farm?? Maybe deep down inside you realized the CWB made YOU a lot more competitive then you are on your own. That's what it is, because I never stated that the CWB was better at running the farms of Western Canada then farmers themselves.

                          Coincidentally I heard that program.
His message of do8ng the right thing is one basic truth. Not a solution for a countrys problems.
Since someone mentioned the _ _ _ again, and malt. Today emptying an air bin, some chit, whole field, completely to a malster so I can dump some wet wheat back in it. Fair price, at once.
The old system killed itself. They are entirely responsible. To believe different is cognitive dissonance.
