Pics of some interesting stuff.

    <div id="post_message_2045913" class="nolinks"[img][/img]I thought I'd share a few pics of some neat things we've done this year.<br /[img][/img] <br /[img][/img] This first one is Pasteur wheat that's been treated with Ethrel and Manipulator. Yielded very well, very little straw, no lodging, high protein (better be... 180lbs of <em[img][/img]actual</em[img][/img] N applied on this field). <br /[img][/img] <br /[img][/img] ="inlineimg" src="http://www.thecombineforum.com/forums/images/CombineForum_2015/smilies/tango_face_smile.png" border="0" title="Smile" /[img][/img]<br />https://youtu.be/U6nS6FMT478<br /><br /><div id="ame_doshow_post_1444009024_1" style="display: inline;"><div></div></div></div>

      Some more.... but less interesting.

Harvesting peas. Kind of a poor crop. barely 30 bu/ac. Too dry at first, then too wet late, and lots of wild oats came in.

      Swathing some 45H33 canola

Up close of those Pasteur heads.

This is happening way too much this year.

Nice pics, You maybe better find another 1000ac and buy another pet cat for the wife next year so you can get her out of that massey.

Isn't manipulator one of the chemicals that the grain companies have on their declaration that we sign? That they don't want?

Was there a yield difference on the manipulator ground? I'm really wanting to try some next year. How much shorter? Could it handle more N on the manipulator applied stuff before lodging g in your opinion. I have a friend from Germany that comes usually once a year for a few weeks for a visit. He can't believe we arnt using grow manipulators. I honestly think it's going to get a big bump to yield if we can get it figured out. And their product that is exactly the same as manipulator work out to about $4cdn/ac but ours is worth $14.

The Lexions are extra heavy, put duals on it if you want to keep it. Our 9870 with duals floats great.
On aside note what happened on hopperbin's farm?

Was wondering about Hopper situation also. Dont think I can logistically get any equipment up there but can do some labour.

Manipulator is registered and can be sold anywhere in the world.

We've had samples stateside already... they'll take it.

CDN elevators may or may not. Who cares won't go there anyway. Our markets are international or local feed mills.

We didn't leave a check to harvest this year but Ethrel in Unity showed a 15 bu increase.

Length difference was waste to knee high in treated to untreated.

Hopper's peas and wheat are in the bin. his flax is swathed already.

His two sisters and their husbands stepped in... Don't want to post too much publicly but it's getting done and they are getting help when and as they need it.... thanks for the support on here... it meant a LOT to his daughter and whole family... they never realized he had that many friends on here!

klause, would you mind saying what the wheat yielded ? if we put that much N on it would be flat on the ground . is your ground like that also without the manipulator ? looks like a real good yielder . we need 120-140 #s act N to get 50-55 bpa canola consistently , but can't go over 75# in wheat or it is flat on the ground

Klause, you mentioned you used Ethrel and Manipulator on the Pasteur. Did you use them in tandem or side by side? If you used them in tandem why?

Noticed you didn't have a swath roller behind your swather. Do you not use one?

                              Klaus,

what settings are you using for canola on your Lexion combine. My dockage usually runs 1-1/2 to 2%. But maybe that has more to do with where I am selling it.
