Marijuana in California

Nearly two decades after Californians legalized marijuana for medical use and a year before they may also approve it for recreational purposes, Gov. Jerry Brown today approved statewide rules on the growth, transport and sale of the drug.

Signing a trio of bills, the governor created a regulatory system that could be adapted to widespread cannabis use if voters make it legal by passing a ballot initiative next year.

No thanks, not at this age. I have enough trouble remembering what I need to. And don't need the munchies, got a mild case of middle aged spread going on, don't need any help with appetite. And if I'm expected to smoke it, I think I'm exposed to enough pulmonary risk.

The sickest of all are those that criminalize people who find a little relief from a natural remedy.

The system uses weed as a make work project for police, lawyers and judges. Yup sick.

Keep the focus on marijuanna. The last thing Canadian hemp farmers need is the US to legalize industrial hemp. Production Volume goes up and then its just another low priced commodity. Seed prices will go up, the grain price will go down and then it will be like growing hard red spring wheat.

I cant believe how little people know about drugs. Every drug is different for every person. People really need to know that the opiates and amphetamines are really really dangerous. FYI you will never know if your kid is an addict until it is to late. You can work side by side and still not know. Pot is bad but it is not as dangerous nor addictive it's just a crutch like alcohol,coffee, or food and possibly safer then those three. Meth and cocaine will **** some people up beyond repair.

According to some reports, prescription drugs kill more people than illegal drugs or motor vehicle accidents, alcohol abuse is an epidemic, but ever hear of anyone becoming violent or dying from Marijuana? Some call it the benevolent weed.
