the head wrapping issue / migrant issue may be his ticket back to office, gain him some seats back in Quebec. I believe we will see some new NDP MP's in alberta though, judging from the second place showing of NDP during the alberta provincial election in many ridings. I like mulcairs policy on energy, but the social part of his platform freaks me out as well as the stance on the migrants. I will vote conservative again even though I think they are selling out canadas future to the corporations. Liberals would be the same, except we would have a wimpy leader.

I look at the states, and realize how lucky we don't have their political system/ candidates. What a clown show there.

I believe Harper thought he was going to get a minority at worst so by having a twice as long election the opposition and public financially and emotionally would reject the idea of having another election right away. This long election was totally irresponsible of the government to try and manipulate their hanging onto power.

Yes newguy, and if harper had called a snap election then you would have blamed him for not giving voters time to decide or something else. hopefully it's not a minority or we'll be having another election next year! On a side note, if alberta had another election, would it be the same result?

So why is no one talking about Trudeau's campaign co chairman resigning? If this had happened to Harper some on here would be losing it. The fact that he was talking to those involved in the energy east pipeline about who the new cabinet ministers would be in the Liberals new government so they could be ready to lobby for its approval has received very little coverage from our liberal media. Liberals are a corrupt as ever lol.

I think any leader that looses the election should be forced to quit...

If Trudeau gets in, I sure hope no lefty's complain when the carbon tax comes in and gas goes above the $2/liter mark, or when corporations close up shop and move headquarters elsewhere because the corporate rate is uncompetitive. But who needs them, right?; corporations are evil and don't do anything but create jobs - who needs those? If financially insecure/socialist people are going to financially bankrupt this country and the next generation, I sure hope there is a good show to go along with it.

Definitely miss Harper if it goes that way. I have never been more financially secure or happy in my life. Success is out there today for those that seek it. Problem is, majority of people don't think that way and think they deserve it all without breaking a sweat.

I'm just trying to decide if I want to go to the poll as Chewbacca, a stormtrooper, or Darth Vader. Or maybe just the old standby Friday the 13th goalie mask?

Liberals aren't lefties so your wrong right off the bat. Exactly what has Harper done so wonderful for you?

You like the 155 billion added to the national debt, or the 750 million spent on Government ads, the F-35's he promised, senate reform, etc, etc, etc

15444 I am with you...life has never been better. Careful though...with talk like that Forage will call you a ref/con troll talking like that. Lol. I think Harper wins. The choice is pretty clear. My bleeding heart liberal friends in Toronto are voting for Harper so that's a good sign. Harper is good at economics and to enjoy life you gotta have that in place. Just the stating the facts.

Oh and by the way the definition of Liberal is an NDP in a hurry. So 15444 you are correct in your assesment .
