If I have to be brow beaten down "by the Industry" to the point I need to survive or stay in business with a gutted Agristability program, I'm out hopefully long before I let that happen. Then the parasites can suck the blood of someone else

wonderful all around .
my own MP gerry ritz wins the the award
for the stupidest comment ever made by an agriculture minister , living or dead.
i thought Lyle van Cleif would own that title forever.
but nope Ritz's comment , "that the rail backlog never cost farmers anything"
no one will ever top that
another nation of complete morons would be required to elect a govt that would put that man in charge of anything. never happen
the title stays here forever.

To me its a mouth in high gear and brain in neutral scenario. The comments are so out of this world that sometimes they seem to come from an alternate universe.
Deny, deny, deny. And with some foresight, preplanning and a slower transition(they had 4 fricken years to implement something "workable") this may have been somewhat mitigated.
Please note, I'm not crying for the old system back but if some checks and balances had been implemented.... still need them today, no less that before.
Go ahead a blame it on the "perfect storm" harsh winter and large crop. So with the wave of the Minister's magic ostrich feather everything has/will sort itself out, for that is their way. Monopolies, Duopolies and Oligopolies need regulations, because they can't be trusted to do it themselves.

Braveheart, Your 100% right grain companies do decide where trains get spotted based on vessel line up at port. This may be either very good for a location or very bad if they have the grain and quality needed at port they get cars.
