I don't believe Ralph will be ag minister, JT needs him closer at hand to govern. Remember, JT is just a high school drama teacher, that's it. No law degree like his dad, no studies in economics or finance, just a drama teacher. Ralph will be needed close by.
    Perhaps someone from Ont.?
15444, any prospects for Ag minister coming out of Ont.?

In general.... running the country may be compared to running a diverse corporation. There will be layers of management and Trudeau will not have the skill set to do it himself. Hopefully he will be surrounded by capable people.

No different than any other party who forms government. Just a different group this time around.

God guys some of your comments are unbelievable.
        Ralph will be finance minister.
        Easter will get AG.

Plus the Old boys club will be running the show with Trudeau as the Poster Child. Watch.

BB, couldn't tell you. I don't follow the demon hoards (Liberals), I just hear the mention of some names that are the elder demons (Goodale, Easter) and where their interests lay.

The Libs would be wise to start with new blood. As far as Easter, his baggage with the NFU should disqualify him.

Ritz should cross the floor, exit stage right (pun), and disappear.

I lose what little respect I have for people who let their name stand and win their seat, but their party loses the role of government, and then they "quit"!

For sure, Case IH. Hope we get back farm programs, PFRA, community pastures. Course I know it would be difficult and expensive to try to replace what was discarded.

How exciting - Easter for Ag - great news for cattle producers in Canada!!!!! Because at a farm meeting, I spoke with him personally with regard to settling the BSE class action while the Libs sat on the Opposition side of the House.

He spouted huge support for us, presenting to Parliament one of our petitions asking for a settlement.

So we can all expect our settlement cheques to be in the mail shortly after Parliament resumes sitting as there will be no obstacles to the Liberal majority making good on the mad cow mess that happened on their watch in the first place.

                      That's how it works, right?

Certainly haven't heard anything on that front lately, although in a meeting with Ritz, he was going to get some info back to me....never did....
