Fricking Rain! Early this morning!

My beans were not even close to being ready to spray by the 10th or 15th of September.

I combined a hopper at 17 the other day, but then switched to swathed canola because I feel the beans will weather FAR better than canola will.

So it is not like my beans are not ready if the rain stops.

Supposed to rain and snow today, and then get nice for three or four days, and then again rain.

Are fabas like peas and you have to change concave? I know nothing about them.But must be a real pain going back and forth if concave need changing as I have a 1680 and try to do it only once a year then back once.

I've got wide wire harvest concaves and never change them between crops. It would be a huge pain to change as these things are HEAVY.

I do it myself.concaves heavy and awkward but now have a bit of a system and can do it less than 2 hours and not rushing at it.By myself.Many trips from side to side making sure things slid in proper.Tried doing a late spot around a slough without changing and peas busted up badly.They went to pig barn so no big deal but Sure seen the difference

Finished my final field of final harvest yesterday.

IH sure smartened up with 8010 , can change 7 of the 8 concaves in less than 10 mins , the last one is hard to get at , usually 4 is all that is necessary . they are a dream compared to 88 series . quite light . can blank them in a couple mins .
