    Cwb alliance pamphlet

I read through this thing titled "the great canadian grain robbery" the other day and it really ticked me off that we have people this stupid still surviving in our industry that support this crap!!! why can't they give it up!
This is what I emailed to the CWBA that are responsible for this Bullshit information.

Just browsed through your Great canadian  grain robbery pamphlet. Its inspiring. And gives me great confidence in your ability to use uncorralated numbers to baffle the percentage of growers that feel they arent seeing the rest of the story. Way to work the numbers friends! Glad I've been paying more attention to all aspects of the market than you guys. Otherwise it would have not made it obvious to me that your numbers have been cherry picked. I could go into detail but I'll save it for my own circle of friends. These numbers are at best coincidentally calculated but I would throw this into more of a "Propoganda Program". The people responsible for these apples and oranges comparisons should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt they have the time to see past their agenda to concern themselves with facts . I'll wish you good luck only because you've got to be running short of it having survived this long.

    Daylate,

The friends are searching for Goodale bucks... since Mulcair bucks are worthless now!

I can imagine how well Goodale will like this idea... do not foresee any gifts going to rural Canada... we are blue out here... not red!

They had radio ads during the election to vote against the Conservatives.

We will see if they are rewarded by the Liberals.

Here is the real book on the Canadian Grain Robbery, seems this group didn't realize they plagiarized a work that truely showed facts and information.
I've said it before, I've moved on, this new government won't go backwards either.

          Jeff

          Good to see you post.

Hope things are well your way.

          Question.

While you were involved with the process a bit were there no provisions for a transparent reporting system to give farmers a better view of what's going on.? Going forward.

It seems the graincos have room at both the west coast and prairies and contracts are still delayed.

Would canada be better served to vote for the leader rather then local rep? Then there would be representation everywhere of the person in charge. Western Canada is really kinda screwed.

            Yes, like the US

I've really come to the conclusion that we were lucky to get rid of the single desk system when we did. It scares me to think about what ideas Goodale will be fed since we know he'll have none of his own.

Maybe if the Cons had shown the same determination in the transport system we would have something to be happy about. Unfortunately they didn't see the forest for the trees. We now have a disorganized mess without transparency.

Re CWB Alliance pamphlet, it really was a trashy piece, but what rules exist on election spending? It was obviously anti-Conservative Party, and must have cost a fortune.

For me it showed that as I always believed, they care more about philosophy than building wealth for farmers.

It surprises me there is still enough brooding over the death of the ___. Quite a number those I know whom still want it back to the way it was are now retired from grain production or are doing something else. That is why this drivel is still just that. Sure they will have Goodale's credent ear and their endgame may be accomplished ie payout but thank god the ___ was scrapped before hand. I think the ___ would have been a great idea in the first place if it was a grassroots organization and transport to markets wasn't so daunting. No matter free market or ___ transport to markets is a bigger problem than anything.

Can not believe Goodale would attempt to resurrect the wheat board.
He has to be a savvy politician to survive this long and, no matter what his personal views, election on prairies supports Harper government action on board.

as we needed the cwb is gone.we are free to market as we so desire. why are some crying for so called tranparency? transparency on what? are some saying government should force private buisiness to divulge private financial statements? if so would these farmers publisize their finacial statements? careful for what you ask for. its very obvious some who think they are capitalists are socialist at heart.

Also on transparency binthere, the CWB never divulged much in the way of transparency, even to farmers well after the pool closed.
