John Deere might of won the court case but its leaving a bad taste in the mouths of plenty of farmers. Shorting JD stock might be one of the surest bets a guy could make.

I feel the same about the "Check Engine" light in my trucks and cars. The technology exists to tell me specifically what the problem is on the dash. Instead they want you to go to the dealer.
My point is tell ME what the problem is and I will decide how serious it is and what to do about it.
Of course the reasons are obvious why they won't do that.

Nice to hear agco is taking a different approach, I'll consider this when making future purchases.
Recently I've been more selective with who I deal with on my farm on everything , I'm finding the smaller independent dealers treat me better than most of the companies with the fancy uniforms, whether it's machines, grain or fertilizer .
It appears the shareholders of these companies don't require customers, They only strive to show profit to increase share price, at the customer expense. I'm glad I have a few options and don't have to deal with some companies anymore.
For all reading this that don't work for the mega companies and are doing there best to balance profits with customer service keep it up! I'll be looking out for the ones that look out for me!
Things may change for the better if we all consider the big picture as we go about our business.

But, but, but... what about the multiple unit flip deals, can the Mom and Pop stores handle those and do they get support from the parent company?

Who wants to walk with turkeys when you can soar with eagles? Sarcasm fully intended!!!

                Great interview Chris.

                Thanks for sharing.
I am going to post the link to the story and your interview for more to see.

This is an important issue to be discussed and debated.

                Take care,
