those board lovers are just as bad
At least we can get it back. Unlike the extortionists that are the pulse growers board. 1% is fly boy robbery.

Let's make a whole bunch of teams why not?

Team let's actually get the real
Price buyers are paying in the hands if the farmer

Team let's get our product out to port on time

Team let's have some room in the terminals

Team less highway traffic more rail

Team let's have contracted grain taken in on the specified dates

Team let's not have fk around with basis to gain grain company freebies

Team show me what the real price of peas canary seed flax lentils is

Team let's have canola seed be 20 bucks a pound

Team let's put farmers in jail for growing 20
Buck a pound canola the next year

Team I wanna schmooze with the other teams playing golf and having steak and lobster with the grain rail and government executives

Whenever someone is endorsed by a group they come with baggage.

Or they have an agenda to fulfill.

This nonsense of whether a guy is a board supporter or not has nothing to do with these commissions.

It has to do with spending checkoff money properly.

All this talk of research for better varieties I don't really understand. Wheat isn't really moving. Durum gets a good price at a number three grade anyway. And that grade can occur after a late August two day drizzling rain. Even if you have spent all your fungicide budget.

How about candidates with new ideas that are not promoted by a new/old group trying a different strategy to get their agenda in after convincing the ag minister to create these commissions.

Still no one talking one common group so someone likes their little powerdome.

More groups - easier for a divide and conquer strategy by the government or others.

Absolutely it has to do we a radical board supporter or not. In general they also support NFU who has basically came out against GMOs and science based environmental and food safety. They are generally socialist against most free trade agreements and captilosm. Do absolutely it has to do with being a Board/NFU supporter.

As farmer are you really going to vote for a slate of candidates picked by who knows who or are you going to go to Sask Wheat read the bios and make an informed choice?

I would probably pick Lindsay for the years farming experience, Reiter for a woman's view and probably Hepworth for the fact he wanted to be a farmer forever. Please make an informed choice and don't be lead by "paid for" advertising!

Begs the question...what kind of ties do these guys have? I know Zenneth Faye has been involved in numerous value add initiatives and as an incumbent is a no brainer for any board he wants to run for. The other two barley guys I don't know much about. The young Fransoo comes from the family who owned Parkland Pulse I'm sure. Another very good value add company in the prairies. Know the family but don't know this one personally. Rick Lindsey has all kinds of Exproenxe. Very polished man. Would be a fantastic representative. Laura Reiter has exprience on this board and no doubt with her back ground has and will do a fantastic job. Dan Danielson doesn't even really farm. Literally has no skin in the game. Involved for political reasons more so the personal or agricultural reasons. I know Scott personally. Heck of a good guy and more than qualified to make informed decisions with a farm first mentality. Bill Rosher is an organic farmer. If that's the voice you believe represents you then I guess he is a valid candidate.

Do your own due diligence but IMO teambarley looks pretty strong for that side and 4-5 excellent candidates on the wheat side.

It is now seems we have TeamWheat and TeamCWBA. Only Lindsey seems to be running for the voice of the farmer and not being bought and paid for by some outside advertising.

If you haven't voted yet vote for Lindsey and leave the teams alone. I hate agendas and it seems most of these candidates have them and they aren't for us farmers.
