Yeah when it can go through the combine, it will go. So far, it won't go.

Forecast at least looks dryer for now.

Riders, in 2009, I took ALL my canola at 14, starting this very day that year. Most had not done a thing until the 8th of November. Some canola we dried right away, the one bin on rented land with air, landlord blew air all winter, only on the cold days. Checked frequently. Sold it in June, on a hot day it was very cold in the bin. And IT WAS DRY.

2004. Combined a fair amount in November. I remember doing oats on the 11th. It can happen

Temperature is far more important than actual moisture content. I am far more scared about my 8% canola combined at 20 degrees, than I am with my last canola which tested 13, combined at near zero degrees.

We shall see. The big lady has been up on stage in this area about 6 times. She has returned backstage the same number of times.

The two week forecast says she may well sit there for a while.

    I hope very much so.

Thanks people doing the higher spots where I can go was stuck earlier.

Wind is helping too bad wasn t windy earlier.

Can't test it but she s getting air as it's dumped.

Awful feeling crop in the field and you can't move.
I ll gladly take getting stuck or whatever a few times.

Were now down to two machines as one has had a issue with sieve meeting a chopper.
60 acres and she is all over. Hopefully no fog or rain today. Tomorrow looks awful.
Grain cart has a one mile trip to grid and back as no way to get to field because of the mud. Ah farming in East sask.

I'm thinking tough slugging must be an understatement. I can't imagine.

Wow, glad you guys can go. Impossible here. Foggy again this morning. Water dripping off trees and the machinery in the yard.

Only able to do some higher ground free. Just kept getting stuck spent more time pulling out than combining. But there is snow now. Pretty depressing!!
