Heat works like cocaine. Use some and it hits quick and blows things away but after 10 minutes it effects disappear. Then you feel glum and need more. It's a shitty chemical; both it and coke. I used heat and glyphosate post harvest and pre seed and didn't care for it. Sure it grinds things down but it doesn't kill. It works like Infinity. So much rr canola in the wheat this year. Some guys used heat at dessication and ended up going back in with something else cause it didn't do anything.

Just because there is a tool being promoted by the Company who makes it doesn't always mean its the right tool for the job! MRLs, unintended effects on crops, ... Do the perceived benefits always outway the potential problems? Whose left dealing with the fallout?

The farmer is left to deal with his heated canola thank you very much!
He paid for the chemical and the cost of spraying. It is alleged to have ruined some canola. The farmer is repsonsible, he should have done more to manage his inventory. Now his pocket is a little lighter.
This general situation reminds me of George W. Bush . " fool me once shame on me, uuuummm fool me once ...uuuhhhh " ...well......I wont be fooled a second time ."
And then the chequebooks get whipped out!
