grass, you would LOVE my area, at least my land. We hardly feel the wind compared to most around. We have a lot of bush on our land and it is gunna stay that way. I like hunting way too much, and I believe it is going to get to the point where land like mine gets so rare, that it will be valuable to those who want a piece of original habitat.

I am glad my dad instilled in me a hunting/conservation spirit. And now, as I move to animal agriculture more, it is going to pay back big time in a lot of ways...

Ironically, if the people who maintain bush free land still have hay sloughs or hard to crop areas and don't cut the sloughs or till the tough spots, they will find Mother Nature will reclaim those spots and after decades will return them to their former state, it's only a matter of time.. Obviously some areas never had bush and some not much and some lots. Alot has to do with soil zones(which is a bit of a climatic indicator) and topography.

Yeah I have piece of land that I have not been able to reach because of high water table and excess rain for about 8 years. Was farmed for the previous 80. It is reverting to poplar, and fast. When the water levels return to normal, it will have to be re broken I guess. It does not take long to grow a stand of poplars...
