I will never understand the mindset of governments/people who believe in government deficit financing.

At best they are morons at worst criminals who should be locked up.

      Off Topic:

Dipping into the Line of Credit and Operating Loans, Every business will do it but most do it with the intention of being able to pay it back, hand hopefully not decades later...:-0

And how does putting 25,000 more people on the dole help this? (just to stay on topic)

Who cares farmaholic...we could bring in our own 25000 for 1.2 bil payed by the taxpayer. Then we could share lets say 50,000,000 in commision.Hell of a deal.

I have never understood why Albertans think they can run a province with out a sustainable source of income like a sales tax? Do they never learn from past experience that commodity prices are not reliable? How many times does this cycle of boom and bust have to happen for taxpayers to figure this out? Every other province has a sales tax. I would call it the Alberta disadvantage.

Your right farmaholic ...read the line about dipping into the credit and operating and then our govt I hear this morning are bringing in the 25000 refugees for 1.2 bil.(angry face).Sarcastically thinking some govt agency is probably making a pretty good commission off taxpayers money...

Delaying the background checks is not going to make any difference finding out if Isis is present in the Syrian migrants. Officials are admitting. They do their checks in the camps and then that's it. Waiting for months isn't going to change a thing sorting out who is who unless someone sat there and watched 25,000 all at once each day everyday. And went into Syrian and Iraq neighbourhoods to talk with the locals and who s gonna do that?

People suggesting the delay are only covering their butts to be able to say see I told you so should something happen.

Anyways it s clear that the sleeper cells are already embedded in countries but I m sure we don't have that here right?

ISIS is trying to do what Spain did in the 1500's.
Ruthless expansion of territory under their own perverse religious ideals only on a smaller scale for now.
Christian extremists of Spain did this for hundreds of years all over the world including the Middle East . Some cultures have very long memories and deep hatered from that.
It was not only Spain but other countries did the same under the guise of Christianity as well. They committed geonocide and wiped out other cultures all orotund the world in the name of religion and 95% of the peace loving Christians did nothing to stop it.
Christianity was as guilty then as ISIS and Islam are today.
Britan and France did it in the 1700-1800's and now the US is doing it under the guise of a new world order - their new religion after WW2.
