    Good post, pgulca.

but, but, but Tom, you can't be agreeing with his arguments, and still maintain your creationist theory.

Doctor Moore has stated the millions of years of tree growth piling up without rotting due to no organism being able to digest its lignin content. How would (wood) dinosaurs and humans existing at the same time have navigated such a volume of material?

Should you not be skeptical of his conclusion on carbon as the giver of life, when his premise is based on lies and what you can't believe in?

His book is an interesting read.
That is, if your not scared of being labeled a heretic.
Sustainable solutions for the betterment of man through industry.
And we're going the opposite way.

checking, not all creationists think the earth is 6,000 years old. Why would God plant misleading evidence like light traveling from object Billions of light years away? Either that light was emitted from distant stars billions of years ago or God put the light in motion 6,000 years ago to deceive us -something I find EXTREMELY unlikely.
(My apologies for also weighing in on Tom's theological change of subject)

Oh that Patrick Moore - he who claimed glyphosate was safe to drink yet when offered some declined stating "I'm not an idiot"

Claims to have been a Greenpeace founder but wasn't.
check out his credentials at: http://www.desmogblog.com/patrick-moore

To summarize - "Moore has served as a corporate public relations consultant far longer than he ever worked for Greenpeace, and he has never worked as a scientist.”

Yes grassfarmer, does it surprise you that some want to discredit moore now? He makes the greenies look bad. The only articles that are credible are the ones you agree with eh? Moore has been on both sides of the fence, and he makes sense. You say sun news has no credibility, i say desmo blog has no credibility.

Its funny how extreme left organizations like Greenpeace are all about discrediting people rather than their arguments. Probably because ideology is more important that reality and they feel they don't have to have good arguments for why we should all follow their policy if they can merely discredit anyone who disagrees with them.

Glyphosate has an LD50 similar to salt. I wouldn't drink a glass of saltwater or glyphosate and yet the whackos expect Patrick Moore to do so like it's a junior high school dare. Juvenile

He was the one that stated it was safe to drink - then refused to do so. Discredited himself right there with no help from anyone else.

Glyphosate is one of the only loads of liquid you can haul without a placard on the trailer.

Regarding Glyphosate notice how it isn't toxic however there is a whole lot of surfactant in there that they won't tell you much about and won't give you the LD50 on. Anything I have read about surfactants, even in paint they are one of the most problematic components. As an aside I have always wondered how years of dumping surfactants in our fields affects nutrient uptake, especially micronutrients and heavy metals. It could be beneficial or very harmful???
