    Batco Conveyor

I am a seed grower and am looking at purchasing a Batco 1500 series conveyer (85 or 90 feet) with a mover. Something I can easily move from bin to bin when I am emptying clean grain from the seed plant. I haven't talked to anyone though who has ever run one. How does the mover work? Is the 35 HP motor enough? How fast does it move product? (Similar to a 10" or 13" augher?)

I have a 1545. Mover works very well, but maybe doesn't drive as fast as a Brandt that I saw at another farm. Probably have over 100 hours on mine, with no issues yet. Can fill a super b with peas in about 15 minutes. A bit slower with wheat or canola. Not recommended for canola because seed can get under the belt and make it slick but we haven't had that problem yet.

Actually I have a couple of short conveyors (45 foot). What I was curious was peoples experience with a long conveyors (85-90 foot) to fill bins with that have a mover and motor rather than a PTO drive.

They work well .But Definately slower on cereal grain especially if it's cleaned. It tends to roll back

Motor has lots of power as you don't run throttle very fast anyhow
Dump as close to throat as you can as it's faster.
