I think it took about 2 days until Hitler was brought up in one 9f the speeches. I have no skin in this game but I probably wouldn't be a fan of bill 6 either but the way the Alberta farmer is coming off in this fight is not good. The speakers seemed like they should of been vetted better and the vitriol kept under wraps.

All peaceful demonstrations have been a waste of time. She isn't listening, maybe we need another farm group to lobby them,,, a little more western attitude wouldn't be all bad.
Since Remembrance Day when we were supposed to remember the sacrifices made for us to live in a free country we've had so much shit rammed down are throats it makes me sick.

It's democracy Goodrum. Minority interests are not going to get the result they want every time - in a democracy the majority interest is the one catered to, always has been - always will be.
The demonstrations did achieve substantial change to the proposed legislation from what we can see. As good as you could have reasonably expected I'd say.
One thing that has been noticeably absent in this debate has been the farm workers views - how much voice or coverage have their views been given? That seems wrong to me.

They found every farmworker that they could that wanted this legislation. Fact is Grassfarmer there were very few.
