Tom the point of that post was to point out we are getting f'd on canola right now. As usual you wont admit the grain market in WC is not functioning properly. Nothing to do with nexera or new crop. Thanks for adding nothing.
I agree, canola is cheap relative to beans.

Over half of canola is meal, which still trades at a discount to bean meal and must be freighted great distance to markets.

Canola crush capacity is at 88.7%, significantly higher than last year.
Over 290,000 Tonnes more canola crushed this year vs last so far.
IMO, canola being moved to avoid heating and bill payments.
Crush margin currently at $88/tonne. To answer vvalk, the canola crushers are making good $ currently.
March to July will be a more profitable time to sell.
