    Baltic Dry Index: All-Time Low

It's never been cheaper to freight cargo across the oceans at a time of a global commodity price collapse and new ships entering the competition.

Shanghai Shipping Index (China to Europe) now about 40 to 50% below even the lows seen in 2009.

Brazil's economy in-turmoil while Canada and Australia certainly not far behind while government spending accelerates debt and the U.S. plans a series of rate hikes over the next year.

    The true definition of a 'mess' . . . .

As a producer and exporter of bulk commodities, lower freight costs should be good for us.
To the extent it reflects decreased demand, not so good.
