why do we believe science when it says we need X amount of NPKS. to get X bushels .

Sawfly, everyone has an agenda, and if it makes them $$$, it will be pushed as gospel. It is VERY hard to separate fact from fiction. You should watch the documentary on why humans commit genocide. It is the way we are wired to follow a lead. The theory of Climate Change/Global warming is just another example of that human weakness. There are many others of course.
IMO, this is another distraction by the elite billionaires so the masses do not focus on the abuse of the 99 plus %.

Could it be because margins are so low and we will spend at least a generation paying of an investment like land. They want 3-5 years to pay of any investment. vvalk: I'd say that you do NOT TELL THE TRUTH. I supported the CWB 100% when I grew wheat and barley...also oats when they were handled. I don't grow grain now but I do grow grass and sell hay. If the two big cheques I deposited this fall for hay weren't the product of farming, what in hell were they?
