The END...Dinopocalypse! What Happened?

Princess and I caught this on NPR... (on a trip to visit mom...) about a new theory about Dinoapocalypse... How it ended... about a hour long... really well done!

Iridium may be a new theory to your family Tom, but I remember programs on it in the 1980's off the dish. It rather put to rest the fairy tail cult of creationism for me.

Glad to see that you may finally see that humans were not the cause of dinosaur extinction through hunting and eating all of them!

It is very entertaining... seeing the complexity of the world we live in... and how much planning it takes to grow our crops... raise our families...

And one little chuck of rock can wipe out everything in 2 hours...

Takes way more faith to believe we are here by accident... than by creative forces that planned us to be talking here today!!!

Since it IS Christmas... a little interesting reading... Jesus... who exists outside the Space Time Continuum.. as well as during his visit to reveal to us... left this interesting record:

"17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

22 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Accident, no omnipotent being would be dumb enough to plan this! I believe that what happens here is strictly chance.

Enjoy freedom in 2016... It was bought with much blood sweat and tears... I am very thankful our forefathers believed we now...were/are worth the pain/sacrifice/suffering they invested so we could /can make the freedom choices that are ours today!!! The most unselfish/loving actions and heritage... We should remember and honour.

Checking, Humans have interesting imaginations! These guys did a pretty good job working through the science... and showing just how tenuous and unlikely our existance should be in a universe of Caos and disorder!

If you are correct.. we [who believe in order] during our lives... are blessed with a positive existence... here on earth. Nothing lost for us... with: faith, hope, and love; guiding us to be in the far better place we plan to be headed towards...

... If you are correct Checking...we then just simply cease to exist....

However... if we [orderly folks who believe in a plan] are correct...

Believe that is where you are wrong, Tom. As long as you have a family line, you are immortal, and will live on forever. ... or until the next big asteroid event. Missed one by 6.8 million miles on Xmas eve, but only 3600 feet across. That's considered a near miss, but will miss closer in the future.

To be safe, you should have gone underground, Tom, to talk to your furry ancestor about how it was done. At least discuss it, now that you have the information, for your next congregation meeting.

I thought the guys who did this show had as much imagination and good scripting as Star Wars... I thought entertaining and interesting connecting to the global warming theories... all have some relevance... and learning points if we have open minds!

Checking,,,, Did you see the three part mini series on "Show Case" called "Childhood's End". What a twisted take on long held and taught "conventional" thinking...

kind of a science fiction mix with religion and human elements, weird!!! Makes you think!!
