Ahhhh....gifts of food made with caring hands and loving hearts beat anything hobbyfrmr calls stuff from the "Festival of Junk". She has a lucky "husband". ;-)
Would be nice to hear from, and disagree with, her more often....

Oh, Agrivillers, I have been amiss. And I have indeed missed you and the daily interconnections which has so much enhanced my life.
Thank you so much for the emails and texts. For thinking about me. You most likely thought I was doing time. I am indeed well! And feisty. And had bitten off a bit more than I could cope with it seems. My summer was the busiest I can recall.
Company, relatives, trips, three freezers full of fresh garden vegetables, writing, buyers, our Incorporated business. Even watched the final hookups on an oil well that went up in front of our house. Working towards a new leader. Got involved with family history.
I have been experimenting with einkorn. Cooking with it. I had cocoanut cream pie made with einkorn crust for breakfast this morning. Really. My dream job with no pay, of course. I think we have 16 or so growers now. Farming is so damned interesting. Xo, Your Pars

Merry Christmas to each one of you. I got the stockings all stuffed at this late hour. I will admit I never stuffed a stocking until I was married. But I really got the hang of it.
I wish the best food for you today. Turkey here, with mash potatoes and gravey and trurnips and Christmas pudding. May you enjoy the warmth of friends and family. And messages and calls from those in your past. And a toast or two. And one piece of Christmas cake for good luck. And affection. And good will. And peace.
2016 will bring us angst, I fear, so enjoy today.
We are so fortunate to be on the land, and bonded together, by so many hard working, productive farm families, innovative and wealth-creating. I'm proud to stand side by side with you.
May kindness and cheer and laughter go out to you on Christmas morning and throughout the 25th. Have a wonderful celebration, my friends, Parsley.
Silent night. Holy night.
All is calm. All is bright.
