Dallas TX 61 inches of rain this year... 80 inches in other TX areas!
And you think you have it bad SF3!

"While tornadoes are not unheard of in December in Texas, the tornadoes that struck the DFW were unusually strong for this time of year EF2 & EF3. As for flooding, this is the wettest year on record for Dallas with over 61 inches of rain. The previous record is 53 inches in 1957. Many parts of Texas have had as much as 80 inches of rain this year. The average is around 36" in Dallas. The lakes are full and the ground is saturated any rain fall will cause some flooding. Records only go back to 1898 but this is definitely an unusual year and El Nino has made it much worse. I expect there will be more records broken and flooding before the more spring rains.
